Pós-doutorado em Letras: Estudos Literários na Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG); Doutor em Letras: Estudos Literários pela Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora (UFJF); docente no departamento de comunicação e letras da Universidade Estadual de Montes Claros (Unimontes). Atua nos projetos literários sobre as vozes portuguesas, o mito e a construção do imaginário português em Teolinda Gersão e sobre a diáspora e memória na literatura de escritoras judias no Brasil.
