Abstract
O Auto dos mistérios da Virgem, representado nas matinas do Natal de 1534, é uma reorganização de um ludus prophetarum medieval. Não passaria de mais um edificante auto sacro, não fosse a presença de forte figura alegórica, Mofina Mendes, ou seja a própria mofina, representada por uma pastora azarada e desajeitada, que acabou, por sua cômica atuação, roubando o título devoto que lhe dera antes o mestre Gil Vicente.Downloads
