Agostinho da Silva e a "Escola de São Paulo"
Keywords:
Agostinho da Silva, São Paulo School, Eudoro de Sousa, Vicente and Dora Ferreira da SilvaAbstract
This article starts by defining what is here called "Escola de São Paulo" (São Paulo School), a group of thinkers around Miguel Reale and Vicente Ferreira da Silva who developed an innovative and convergent speculative thinking in the middle of the last century. After that, it deals with the significant theoretical, reflexive and thematic affinities among some of the school's representatives, especially Agostinho da Silva, Eudoro de Sousa, Vicente and Dora Ferreira da Silva. Those affinities, despite the individualities of their bodies of work, show that the authors belong to a common "spiritual family" here conceived in the terms of what constituted a true philosophical school.
