O racionalismo-místico: a herança de António Sérgio no pensamento de Agostinho da Silva
Keywords:
Agostinho da Silva, António Sérgio, Gnosiology/Epistemology, MysticRationalism, Uno-UnificanteAbstract
One of the main points of Agostinho da Silva's metaphysics is mystic-rationalism. In his work, this category is a legacy of the Spanish mystics (mainly Saint Teresa of Ávila and Saint John of the Cross) and of António Sérgio's philosophy. However, it is the latter that prompts Agostinho da Silva to postulate a gnosiologic principie which is characterized, at the sarne time, by rationality and mysticism. This topic is ultimately a type of extrarationality and extra-emotionality which dialogues with the concept of Uno-Unificante by António Sérgio.
