Reflection on the composition strategies of the work O Kit de Sobrevivência do Descobridor Português no Mundo Anticolonial, de Patrícia Lino, from the perspective of ironic transcontextualization made by parodic rewriting. It examines how the image/poem-joke game disrupts prejudiced discourses and opens up latent thoughts in the Portuguese imaginary about the (false) sovereignty of the empire with regard to former colonies. It stands out, through ironic recoding, the deconstruction of heteronormative speech places that reveal, in addition to homophobia, misogyny, racism and xenophobia.
